Since I was a little girl, I have always found comfort in special stuffed animals in traversing my childhood. First there was a small turtle and later a Koala to get me through the stormy nights. As I grew older, I began to appreciate the artistry and character of these amazing creatures and over the years my collection has grown sizably. This site is dedicated to sharing some of my favorite pieces in the gallery, as well as highlighting the orphanage of bears and animals looking for that next special home on their journey. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. Welcome to my world of bears!
Collection Categories
Antique and Vintage
I have spent the last few years building a wonderful groups of vintage Steiff, Clemens, Hermann, Nisbet, Ideal, Pedigree, Jodi, Gund, Michaud, Chad Valley, Chiltern and other early bears born anywhere from 1905 to 1970.
The Zoo
While the majority of my collection centers on bears, over the years I have also acquired a diverse sample of other animals from the barnyard, to the forests, oceans and desert regions of our world.
Artist Bears
I have been very fortunate to have acquired some amazing original artist bears over the years. I have bears from over 50 countries world wide from some of the world’s most gifted artists.
The Mythical Creatures
I grew up with a well developed imagination in my life and have been able to acquire some wonderful pieces that come straight out of fantasy novels, myths and legends. These pieces will spark your imagination and believe anything is possible.
Orphanage
All the items on the following pages are being made available from my private collection. My goal is to find these special works a new home with someone who will treasure them as I do.
